A Collection of Poems and Prose ~ reflections from a desert odyssey sojourner

The thirty-ninth desert odyssey (April 1-8, 2023), was convened over Holy Week in Jeju, Korea. Each day bore witness to unfamiliar perspectives on familiar topics. This blog post is the unsolicited reflections of a sojourner.

Thanks for capturing our journey so beautifully. Desert Odyssey was truly an incredible experience. Didn’t realise that I had forgotten how to laugh, till God re-membered me. Grateful to Tim and each of our fellow sojouners for this unforgettable moment in Jeju.

You have one of the heartiest laughs of anyone I know. It’s amazing to know that this is not who you are/were before desert odyssey. The laughter came from a deep place…a place where God resides. You found you, you found Him!

These collection of poems are beautifully written, capturing the heart of each day. Exploring the depth of pain being released to freedom in the presence of Jesus is evident. The reflection captured each day is poignant. I remember.
