Creating Teams that Work
In this module, we talk about creating teams that will work. Imagine you have just been given the opportunity to lead a team. You are probably as nervous as you are excited. Where do you start? What are things you should put in place to help your team have the right foundation? In these videos, we'll focus on starting your team. You'll have enough ideas and tactics to work on to help build that solid foundation and allow your team to focus on their task instead of dealing with team politics and drama. Let's get started.

Tactics to Manage and Lead Teams to Excellence
So far we've talked about foundations of a team from a team leader's perspective and things you can do to start your team off on the right foot. In this module, we'll talk about specific tactics to manage and lead your teams to excellence. We'll talk about creating a strong culture in your team, how to build a cohesive team, how to deal with conflict, how to manage outside influences, we'll talk about how to manage change and how to build a culture of trust, we'll talk about how to work with organizational constraints and boundaries, and we'll talk about tactics to help you harness the power of authority, power, and influence. There are a lot of tactics that I'll present to you, but don't get overwhelmed. Pick areas that you want to improve on, and start working on the tactics within those areas. You can work on other areas and tactics later. Let's get started.
